Formerly known as the IRD Building, Cashel Chambers and Carpark, Huadu NZ have worked alongside our stakeholders in Otakaro to purchase this property. Having faced an uncertain future, with an ambitious construction programme the existing building and carpark are currently being restrengthened while the Cashel Street Chambers is available for tenants by the end of 2021. The plan from the start was to keep the existing buildings as part of Huadu NZ’s Sustainability Policies which includes keeping and recycling materials that can be reused. 

Options for repurposing the main building are currently being worked on and will provide an exciting new lease of life for this well-known Christchurch property.
